In Illiad, I read about how they live with their gods and goddesses. In making decisions they assure first if the gods and goddesses were favored or not. In some instances someone will die for an offering. Like what Agamemonon did to her beloved daughter, his one and only daughter. He killed his own daughter for an offering for their god. Another one, it shows the bravery of the warriors. An example for this is Hector, he really did his best to fight this strong and brutal warrior, Achilles. But still, in the end Achilles won.
Odyssey, this shows their great bravery through their journey. They also consult their gods and goddesses in their decisions. They always do anything to please their gods but if they do something not good to their gods just what Odysseus did.
Greek literature were so interesting most especially the Odyssey, because I like adventures. Their adventures were so great! But I don't like their practice of relying to their gods. Life is a matter of choices. Its not about the decisions of the others to one's life.
